While donors may express preferences for how their gifts are used, all donations are given with the understanding that FFMI retains full discretion and control over the use of funds to ensure they are applied where most needed within our mission scope. FFMI does not provide goods or services in exchange for donations unless specifically stated.
4. Tax-Exempt Status and Receipts
FFMI operates as a nonprofit corporation registered in the State of Tennessee, USA, and has applied for (or received) recognition as a 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service. While pending approval, receipts are not tax deductible but are good for future use of up to 27 months according to IRS code and legal status.
Official donation receipts will be issued for qualifying contributions as required by U.S. law.
Donors outside the United States should consult their local tax authorities regarding deductibility.
5. Privacy and Data Collection
FFMI respects the privacy of all visitors and donors.
Personal information provided through donation forms, contact submissions, or newsletter sign-ups is used only for communication, recordkeeping, and compliance with federal and state nonprofit reporting requirements.
We do not sell, trade, or rent personal data to third parties.
